We focus on Oahu — Honolulu, Waikiki, Kailua, the North Shore — because Oahu is where most of Hawaiʻi's intimate weddings happen. Private homes facing the ocean, boutique hotels with garden courtyards, small chapels, and quiet pockets of beach away from the resort crowds.
Our founder, Amanda, planned her own intimate wedding on the North Shore in 2024. The gap she found — a Hawaiʻi wedding decor market built almost entirely for large events — is the gap Intimate Wedding Decor was built to fill.
What makes intimate wedding decor different
Intimate wedding decor isn't smaller large-wedding decor. It's a different discipline. With fewer guests, every place setting is read up close. Every detail matters. Every choice carries weight.
Our curated collections reflect that. We don't rent in pallets. We don't ship the same five centerpieces to every event. We curate small numbers of high-end styling pieces — LED taper candles, floating candle cylinders, real linen, brass and glass — and we let restraint do the work.
The table is the architecture
An intimate Hawaiʻi wedding is, fundamentally, a dinner. The table is where the night actually happens. Long tables hold longer conversations. Narrow tables bring guests closer. Linen sets the tone for every other choice on the surface.
Every collection in our catalog starts with the table and works outward — runner, charger plates, votives, taper candles, bud vases, place settings. Nothing extra.
Candlelight is non-negotiable
Hawaiʻi venues, especially beachfront and protected sites, almost universally prohibit open flame. We solve this with LED candles that flicker convincingly, hold the same warm tone, and run for the entire evening. The result is editorial candlelight without the venue conversation.

Our service area is the island of Oahu — Honolulu, Waikiki, Kailua, Lanikai, Waimanalo, Kahala, Diamond Head, and the full stretch of the North Shore from Haleʻiwa to Sunset Beach. Delivery and pickup are included for most quotes.
We've delivered to private homes, beach pavilions, boutique hotels, garden venues, and clifftop estates. Wherever your celebration is happening on Oahu, the trunk comes to you.
Booking your intimate Hawaiʻi wedding decor
Choose a collection. Pay a $500 refundable security deposit. We deliver the day before your wedding, you celebrate, and we collect the trunk the next day. The deposit is refunded in full when the trunk returns complete.
For couples 3–6 months out, we recommend booking soon — each collection is exclusive on your date and peak Hawaiʻi wedding season fills early.

Often, yes — and not because we cut corners. Smaller guest counts mean fewer place settings, less rental volume, and less repeated styling. Our intimate collections start at $497 and scale up by tablescape size rather than by guest list.
Do you style the wedding decor at our Hawaiʻi venue?
Our standard rental is a curated trunk that arrives with everything organized and a styling guide. Full setup styling is available as an add-on. Many couples handle placement themselves — the trunk is designed for it.
Can you help with vendors beyond decor?
Yes. We work with a small network of trusted Hawaiʻi wedding partners — private chefs, editorial photographers, intimate florals — for couples who want a fuller experience without researching every vendor from scratch.
